How good is the Norwegian?
CapStack is built around Norwegian language models, not an English-first model with translation. We handle bokmål, nynorsk, and most dialects with high precision — and when something is uncertain, we say so via QA flags.
What file formats do you support?
MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV, and M4A. Maximum file size depends on your plan, from 100 MB up to 2 GB. For larger recordings, split the file before uploading.
What happens to my audio and data?
Your files are deleted automatically when you delete the project, and otherwise removed automatically after a plan-based retention period. We don't use your content to train models. You own the transcript.
Can I upload long recordings?
Yes — up to 2 GB per file on higher plans (plans start at 100 MB). At 2 GB that typically covers 4–6 hours of audio or 1–2 hours of 1080p video.
What are credits?
Credits are how usage is measured. 10 credits cover one minute of transcription. Burned-in captions and Shorts use their own rates. You always see the credit cost before running a job.
